It’s slowly becoming our little spot. Cozy and warm, the staff is friendly and welcoming. We order the same thing every time. The seafood soup, TO DIE FOR. We have no complaints.
Waitress recommended the Yu Village Cold Noodles and they did not disappoint. Slightly sweet, creamy, soft, and chewy, they melted right in your mouth. Absolutely delicious. The scallion pancakes were also scrumptious, with a crispy, flaky exterior and a soft, chewy interior. 5 star review.
This location has been open a little over a year. We finally tried it and were quite pleased. The menu includes an excellent selection of authentic dishes. We didn't find dishes to be as spicy as the menu labeled them. The wooden ear mushrooms were spicier than the spicy soup dumplings The staff are attentive and helpful. The restaurant is clean and the seating is ample and well-spaced. The soup dumplings are delightful and well-made. The green and red wrappers are natural and so is the jelly in the shaved ice dessert. There isn't gelatin or artificial colors in the dishes that we had. The prices are reasonable and we will be returning.
Delicious and authentic. Just the aroma reminded me of my trip to China with the balance of sweet and spice in the air. Friendly and astute table service both before and after ordering ensured we had everything we needed for our lunch. With the affordable and prompt service, I can’t wait to return (again).
Great food! Had the intestine noodle soup. The spicy level was perfect and the noodles were also very good. Not too soft, not too chewy. Generous portion too. I also ordered the peppercorn pork soup dumplings which were also great and not too spicy.
Very authentic and delicious Chinese noodle house. Hidden gem in Gaithersburg. Also the grill fish only cost 22 now. Service is superb!
This Yu Noodle is the second location in Rockville area, the place is clean, service is prompt and super friendly! Our server was the manager of the restaurant, she was awesome! We ordered a variety of dishes and soup dumpling. They are all great, check out the pics. Btw this location is much more spacious than the original Yu Noodles. So we’ll be back here again!
A comforting noodle place with a wide menu, a caring staff, and a lot of seating! I highly recommend any of the cold noodles as they were all very delicious, and I’d also recommend their soup dumplings or beef noodle soup. My party of 8 were seated on Saturday afternoon with no wait. I’ve tried YU Noodle from a couple different locations and the dry noodles here were definitely one of my favorite! I haven’t tried their desserts or specials but I’ll be sure to return in the future to give them a taste
